What Does Writing Your Book “Look” Like?
Client Intake & Chapter Overview
Schedule a one hour consultation with one of our editors or our entire editorial team (if needed) to explain your goals, timeline, cover ideas and desired topics. A Book Overview listing milestones and expectations is created and approved. A Chapter Overview document is created and approved by you.
Book Research & Compilation
Our editorial team gets to work. Using your approved Chapter Overview as a guide, we create your book in your desired format. Each chapter passes through a strict editing process to ensure the elimination of typographical errors before moving on to the second original, meaningful content stage. Next each chapter is evaluated against your stated goals to make sure your finished “draft” chapter exceeds your expectations. As each chapter is completed it will be sent to you for approval. Book updates will also be emailed weekly so you can monitor progress.
Final Approval & Publication
Once formatted to your desired specifications, your finished book is submitted to you for initial approval. After a maximum of two weeks, client revisions are collected and requested edits made. Your book is then returned for final approval and once received, submitted for publication. E-books are available for distribution within 3 days. Paperbacks will be listed for sale in 7-10 days.
